The total gap adjustment is done via the handwheel on the shear's control panel. To adjust the gap of the shear blades, first adjust the cutting angle of the upper blade of the shear to 0°. After adjusting the shear blade to a cutting angle of 0°, turn off the oil pump, and then manually adjust the throttle valve, slowly lowering the slider until the upper and lower blades overlap by 1-2 mm, then close the throttle valve. Then, the gap between the upper and lower blades of the shear can be adjusted to the minimum via the handwheel on the panel. Then, use a feeler gauge to check and record the actual gap between the upper and lower blades.
