Softened water can promptly remove the heat generated during cutting, reduce the wear rate of the cutter, and also play a certain lubricating role. Without demineralization, the heat loss will be slower, and the cutter wear will accelerate. However, excessive softened water will hinder the operation of the cutter and slicing, resulting in increased noise and cutting consumption. At the same time, softened water will also enter the mechanical transmission part. The purity of softened water also has a great influence on the tools. Solid impurities in softened water will quickly wear the cutter.
